My name is Jennifer, but I like to go by Jenny. I love life. I try to be energetic and positive in a world that is surrounded with chaos and pain. My life goal is to make an impact in at least one person's life for the better because that's why I was put on this earth. I'm a simple girl. I'm not high maintenance and I'm very relaxed. I love photography, baking, playing the piano, singing at the top of my lungs, hiking, kayaking, being outdoors, going to church, and taking every opportunity that comes my way!

  • I’m almost done with my junior year in college. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, but for some reason, I’m ready to run away from that light. Why? I’m not ready to graduate! Some of you may sympathize with me, but most think I’m crazy. College is supposed to get us ready to join the field of work that we’d like to pursue. CSUSB has amazing professors that work tirelessly to get us prepared for the day after we graduate; the day that we need to hit the ground running and find a job. However, professors can only help us so much. It’s up to the individual student on how prepared you would like to be for “the world” […]

So, why am I so ready for school to start again? This fall I will be entering my third year at CSUSB. I am finished with my general education classes, minus a few capstones, and have started to immerse myself into my major and minor. I absolutely adore my decision to be a public relations major and a marketing minor. It’s been a long road to get to this point, but I’m so glad that I’m finally here. I love learning! We grow up having to learn a little bit from everything that’s out there. […]

Have you noticed how many fast food restaurants are on University Avenue? I have. It started to be a regular routine of mine to stop by a fast food place to quickly grab something to eat before I was off doing my homework in the café at Starbucks. While my boyfriend, Corey, and I sat in Starbucks to do our homework, he mentioned the book that he was reading for English: “Fast Food Nation.” Now, I had heard of this book before, but had never given a thought to reading it because I wasn’t ready for anyone to tell me that […]
